This research examines some social values in common Yemeni proverbs as an important element in literary studies and human studies. It focuses on the characteristics of the ideal, its purposes, its function, and the social values it contains, including the role of life, kinship, friendship, morals, happiness and respect. It is found that the proverb is related to our daily life and is an essential part of the traditions of the Yemeni people.Downloads
