Abstract

This research aims to study coins as historical evidence with the inscriptions they carry issued by an official authority, expressing clearly the economic, political and sectarian situation of the state, the owner of the issuance despite its small size and exposure to antiquities of the age because the modernists have studied the events during and before the period of al-Muizz Isma’il’s rule, sometimes with some contradiction and inaccuracy at other times.
