Abstract

This study aims at identifying the attitudes of Sana'a University students towards psychotherapy and the differences in the level of their attitudes according to these demographic variables: gender, specialization and study level. The researcher developed a questionnaire in order to measure the students’ attitudes. The statistical package for social sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data obtained from the sample. The respondents’ attitude towards psychotherapy is generally above the average in a positive way. Also, there were no statistically significant differences in the level of the attitude towards psychotherapy due to the variables of gender and specialization (science and humanities).
