The current study aims to identify the viewpoint of faculty members in computer science faculties in Yemeni universities, both governmental and private, on the effectiveness of the quality of university education. It also aims to test the relationship between the point of view of the sample and some of the variables (university sector, scientific title, number of years of teaching experience, gender). The study sample consisted of 74 Yemeni faculty members. For the purpose of collecting data, the researcher has a built a questionnaire as a tool after he formulated its items, and its validity and reliability. The researcher has found that the stability coefficient was high. The study tool included 44 items classified into four areas: faculty members, scholarships, teaching methods, community service, laboratories, and college administration. The results of the study indicate weakness and shortcomings in the application and development of the university education quality system in the faculties of computer science in Yemeni universities, both governmental and private, despite the tangible progress they have gained. The results also have showed that the quality of educational laboratories and college administration is close to the weak level, while the quality of faculty members, curricula, teaching methods and community service is close to the average level.
