The research aims to discuss the training needs of the teaching staff at Sana'a University and plan professional development programs for them from the perspective of educational technology operations, given that training in university education institutions is one of the real basic factors for the philosophy of quality management in those institutions. The research sample has consisted of (63) faculty members from the university's humanities and applied colleges. The researchers designed a questionnaire, as a data tool collection, based on the five-point Likert classification. The questionnaire items consisted of (107) items distributed over (6) areas: effective teaching, building and developing curricula and study programs, research experiences, electronic information technologies, administrative and leadership practices, and evaluation. The results have showed that the ten most important training needs of faculty members at Sana’a University, arranged in descending order according to their arithmetic mean values, are represented in comprehensive planning to update the content of university curricula, methods of designing programs and courses according to international standards, and methods of practicing motivation and creativity and developing them among learners.
