This research aims to identify the degree in which the teacher of science practices ine developing skills of creative thinking among students of the second scientific secondary grade from the students' point of view. Specifically, the research attempts to test the following two hypotheses: There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) between the average of the opinions of the sample members and the hypothetical average of the community (111). And there is no statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the average of male and female students in relation to the teacher’s practice of developing skills for creative thinking in science teaching among second year scientific secondary students in governmental schools in Taiz. The research community consisted of ( 27) secondary schools, including (12) schools for males, (15) schools for females, and the total number of registered students in the second secondary grade in those schools reached (5558) male and female students. The research sample consisted of (265) male and female students, of whom 143 male and (122) female students. They were selected from (8) secondary schools in a simple random way. The research adopted a questionnaire as a tool for it, which was prepared with reference to some related studies, and the results have showed the acceptance of the first hypothesis of the research and the rejection of the second.
