Abstract

The study aims to analyzing the structure of public expenditures in light of the economic reform programs, and to measure the impact of public expenditures on economic growth. The results have showed that the spending policy still suffers from some manifestations of imbalance, represented in the relative control of current expenditures over public expenditures, and low spending on education and health. The study has also showed that investment spending and the deficit or surplus in the budget positively affect economic growth, while current expenditures do not affect economic growth.
