Abstract

The study aims to develop a proposal for the language preparation of the kindergarten child in Taiz, to learn reading and writing, and the program was applied to the study sample of the kindergarten children of the Gulf National Model Schools, which numbered (19) boys and girls from the age of (5-6) years. This was to examine the effect of the proposed program, which contains several elements (goals - content - activities - evaluation), and includes a set of educational activities and specific language skills related to the four aspects of language (listening, speaking, reading and writing). The activities consisted of several picture cards, various drawings, and a short story. The most important results were that the mean scores became (3.95), and the standard deviation (0.88) at the significance level (0.001) in favor of the test after applying the program. One of the most important recommendations was to place kindergartens in the Arab world, under the educational supervision of the ministries of education, or in colleges of education that contain departments for childhood to achieve the goals of pre-school education.
