This study explores the stylistic levels in Hasan Shihab’s poem Al-Raheel through a stylistic approach, focusing on choice, context, and displacement. Its significance lies in analyzing an unstudied text that reflects the poet’s experiences of departure and transformation. Departure serves as the foundation for the poem’s linguistic construction, conveying existential themes through a condensed and evocative style. The research is structured into an introduction and four sections examining phonetic, morphological, syntactic, and semantic levels. The findings highlight the poet’s conscious linguistic choices across these levels, revealing a cohesive stylistic system linked to the theme of departure. Additionally, semantic displacement—through attribution, addition, and description—plays a key role in shaping meaning, while context enhances the poetic language’s depth, allowing it to evoke profound human emotions and resonate with readers beyond the text itself.
