This study aimed to highlight the role of teachers in instilling and developing loyalty to the homeland in their students, and to highlight the characteristics and traits of competent teachers, who are reliable nurture and educate our children. In Yemen, the concept of tribe and sectarianism continues to advance on the concept of citizenship, the affiliation, factionalism and Regions to the homeland, where this concept is still in the circle of ambiguity. This research is an initial attempt in the way of preparing the competent teacher to perform his role dully, and as he considered the cornerstone of the educational process. The researcher used the analytical inductive method in this theoretical study. The study reached that the role of the teacher in our country is weak, and the national belonging to the existence of shortcomings in this aspect and this is due to the feeling of not receiving the appreciation it deserves in all aspects of the financial and moral training and qualification to obtain a higher degree. In addition, the school environment does not contribute to instilling the values of national belonging in the hearts of students of all stages. School administration, teacher and textbook do not work in the integration and support of the job in order to achieve the objectives aimed at the education in our country. The Yemeni teacher is characterized by a negative loss of national belonging and loyalty Partially because of the lack of satisfaction about the situation he lives in, especially in the light of the weakness of understanding to these concepts, which made him influenced by the conditions not by the sense of belonging to the homeland, and thus instilling these values and principles among his students. In fact, this deficiency is linked entirely to the educational process in schools and universities.Downloads
