The Aesthetic Dimension of Contemporary Three Dimensional Art as an Approach towards 3D Digital Designs from Ancient Yemeni Art

The study aims to explore the aesthetic dimension of contemporary three dimensional art, the evolution of this art, and the utilization of digital technology in the field of contemporary 3D fine art for better three-dimensional digital designs inspired by ancient Yemeni art. The descriptive-analytical approach was used. Additionally, a quasi-experimental approach was employed through creating digital works inspired by ancient Yemeni art using the 3D MAX software, presenting them to a group of specialized judges in this field. The results showed that the aesthetic dimension of contemporary three dimensional art has surpassed traditional beauty concepts, now relying on innovation, experimentation, and digital technology. The aesthetic concept of 3D art is influenced by scientific developments in the current era, leading to changes in intellectual, scientific, and aesthetic concepts in the field of visual arts in general and three-dimensional art in particular. The findings also confirmed the achievement of the aesthetic dimension, the elements of the design work, and contemporary design formulations in the three-dimensional digital designs under study, inspired by ancient Yemeni art, which were highly rated by experts in graphic design and art education towards these designs.
