This study aimed to explore the extent to which modern technology is employed in mathematics education by evaluating its role in improving educational performance, stimulating student engagement, and identifying challenges teachers face in classroom during implementation. Adopting analytical descriptive and qualitative methods, data were collected through questionnaires and interviews from a sample of mathematics teachers in Al-Mahwit Governorate, representing 30% of the target population. Results revealed that the use of digital tools in teaching enhances student interaction and facilitates deeper comprehension of mathematical concepts. Specifically, 95.2% of teachers reported that technology made lessons more interactive and engaging, 85% noted increased student participation and involvement, and 78% indicated that digital tools improved students’ understanding of mathematical concepts. Despite these benefits, teachers encountered challenges such as insufficient availability of digital devices in schools (54.5%) and inadequate training in technology use (27.3%), which hindered effective integration into teaching practices. Additionally, 68.2% of teachers observed significant improvements in student performance following the introduction of technology, with negligible negative impacts. The study recommended enhancing teacher training programs, providing modern technological devices, integrating technology into curricula, and conducting periodic evaluations to ensure optimal educational outcomes.
