Abstract

This study investigated the effect of creative leadership on organizational citizenship behaviors among middle school principals in the Sultanate of Oman. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and a structured questionnaire covering demographics, creative leadership, and citizenship behaviors, data were collected from a random sample of 200 principals. Findings revealed that principals demonstrated a very high level of creative leadership across originality, fluency, flexibility, and problem-solving, and that creative leadership significantly influenced organizational citizenship behaviors. No statistically significant differences were observed in this relationship based on gender, academic qualification, or years of experience. The study underscores the pivotal role of creative leadership in fostering citizenship behaviors within educational institutions.
