Abstract

This research aims to shed light on the leadership of the Yemeni writer Ali Ahmad Bakathir in updating the new poem. He is considered as the only one who is unanimously recognized for pioneering poetic renewal by pioneers such as Badr Shakir al-Sayyab and Nazek al-Malaika.
