Attitudes of Faculty Members at the Faculty of Education, Thamar University, Towards the Use of Artificial Intelligence Applications in University Education

The study aimed to identify the attitudes of faculty members at Thamar University towards the use of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in university education, as well as the challenges they face in using them. To achieve the study's objectives, the researchers developed an attitude scale consisting of (33) items. After verifying its validity and reliability, the scale was applied to a sample of (44) faculty members at Thamar University. The results revealed that the attitudes of the study sample towards using AI applications in university education were positive. The study also identified certain challenges faced in using these applications in higher education. Furthermore, the results showed no statistically significant differences at the (0.05) level between the attitudes of the study sample towards the use of AI applications in university education and the challenges associated with their use, with regard to the variables of gender, academic specialization, and educational qualification.
