Establishment of Faith in the Self and Society: A Comparative Study

Abstract

The present study aimed to probe how faith is established in the soul and society, in a balanced manner, by explaining the state of faith in both, and clarifying the reasons that help establish faith in them, using the balanced approach, in addition to the descriptive and analytical approaches. The study was divided into three sections, preceded by an introduction and a preface, and followed by a conclusion and a list of sources and references. The preface dealt with defining the research terms, while the first section discussed the states of the soul with faith. The second section studied the states of society with faith. The third section addressed the reasons that help establish faith in souls and society. The conclusion presented the results of the study, followed by a list of sources and references. Among the most notable results of the study were that the devil's embellishment of evil to humans and his whispering to them was the main reason for their deviation from the sound nature, and the primary motivator for their turning away from the true religion. Additionally, the methods of upbringing that an individual was raised with, and the desire to conform to those they considered better than themselves, were among the greatest social obstacles that distracted the soul from religion.
