Abstract

The research aims to identify the relationship between thinking, reasoning and achievement in educational research methods among students of the College of Education, Socotra. The research includes the plan, theoretical framework, and research procedures. The research concludes that the relationship between thinking, reasoning, and achievement is weak and positive, and that the level of achievement is higher than the level of thinking, and this is due to the use of the traditional method of teaching. The research has recommended the use of the teaching method that develops deductive thinking among students, especially in the early stages of education, which is the basis for developing the diversity of thinking. The research has suggested conducting several studies on deductive thinking and achievement in physics and mathematics, and conducting a study in vocational education.
