Challenges Faced by Student Counselors in Curbing School Bullying at the Intermediate Level in Sakaka

The research investigated the professional, organizational, environmental, and student parent challenges confronting intermediate school counselors in addressing bullying in Sakaka, Al Jawf. Using a descriptive survey of 41 counselors and a validated 22 item questionnaire, the study found that counselors face high level difficulties in organizational, environmental, and student related domains, while professional challenges were moderate. The most pressing issue was the heavy administrative and clerical workload, which hinders their ability to focus on counseling tasks. The study recommended reducing administrative burdens and expanding specialized training programs, particularly to strengthen counselors’ capacity in tackling cyberbullying.Downloads
