يهدف البحث إلى تحديد الصعوبات وأشكال الغموض الشائعة التي تنشأ عند ترجمة حروف الجر من الإنجليزية إلى العربية وتقديم اقتراحات لتحسين دقة الترجمة وفهمها. تم جمع عينات الدراسة من مجموعة متنوعة من المترجمين عبر الإنترنت بمستويات مختلفة من التدريب والخبرة. أبرزت نتائج الدراسة أهمية النظر في التفاصيل المعقدة للغة المستهدفة وخلفيتها الثقافية أثناء ترجمة حروف الجر. تشير الدراسة إلى أن الاختلافات اللغوية والثقافية يمكن أن تؤدي إلى صعوبات عند ترجمة العبارات الاصطلاحية التي تحتوي على حروف الجر. يمكن أن تكون مصطلحات حروف الجر، التي يشيع استخدامها في اللغة الإنجليزية غير الرسمية، صعبة بشكل خاص للترجمة بدقة إلى لغات أخرى. تشير الدراسة إلى أن إتقان اللغة وحده غير كاف للترجمة الدقيقة. يجب على المترجمين أيضا مراعاة الفروق الثقافية والعاطفية أثناء ترجمة حروف الجر لضمان نقل المعنى المقصود بدقة.
