Scope of Journal:
Thamar University Journal of Natural & Applied Sciences (TUJNAS) publishes original papers in all areas of science, agriculture, engineering, medicine, environment, computer science, information technology, pharmacology, veterinary medicine and dentistry. TUJNAS has been an online-only journal since 2023 with ISSN 2073-0764 (print) and 2959-4340 (online).

Science
In addition to pure and applied mathematics, science encompasses all aspects of academic disciplines that aim to uncover the underlying laws of nature — often written in the language of mathematics. It is a collective term for fields of study such as chemistry, materials science, geology, and physics. It also encompasses all aspects of earth and environmental sciences and includes, in the broadest sense, solid earth processes, surface and atmospheric dynamics, the history of the earth system, climate and climate change, marine and freshwater systems. Engineering
Engineering encompasses all aspects of civil engineering, architecture, and mechatronics. It plays a crucial role in developing technologies to tackle some of the scientific challenges, helping to save lives and improve the way we live.
Computer Science and Information Systems
Computer science covers the development and testing of software and software systems. This includes working with mathematical models, data analysis and security, algorithms and computational theory. Information technology (IT) encompasses all fields relating to computer systems, software, programming languages and the processing and storage of data and information. IT is a part of information and communication technology.
Pharmacology
Pharmacology covers the science of medical drugs and medications, including a substance's origin, composition, pharmacokinetics, therapeutic use, and toxicology. It also studies the interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals.
Medicine
Medicine encompasses all the divisions of medicine such as internal, surgery, pediatrics, … etc. it studies health, disease, and healthcare. This field of study aims to develop knowledge, and interventions for use in healthcare to improve the treatment of patients.
Medical science
Medical science covers and examines various aspects of vital processes. The concept includes human anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, and microbiology.
Dentistry
Dentistry and oral medicine comprise the branch of medicine that deals with the teeth, gums, and mouth. It deals with the study, diagnosis, prevention, management, and treatment of diseases, disorders, and conditions of the mouth, usually focusing on the dentition and oral mucosa.
Veterinary Medicine
Veterinary medicine covers the branch of medicine that deals with the prevention, management, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, disorders and injuries in non-human animals.
Agriculture
Agriculture encompasses crop and livestock production, aquaculture, fisheries, and forestry for food and non-food products.
