☐ Author names, affiliations, email addresses, and ORCID iDs are complete where available.
☐ Authorship and author contribution statements are included.
☐ Conflict-of-interest statement is included.
☐ Funding statement is included.
☐ Data availability statement is included for original research.
☐ Ethics approval and consent statements are included where applicable.
☐ AI-assisted technology disclosure is included where applicable.
☐ Similarity screening has been reviewed and any concerns are addressed.
☐ The manuscript is suitable for double-blind review and anonymized as required.
☐ At least two qualified reviewers can be assigned without conflicts of interest.
2. Reviewer checklist
☐ Is the manuscript original and relevant to TUJNAS scope?
☐ Are the research question, objectives, and contribution clearly stated?
☐ Are the methods appropriate, sufficiently detailed, and reproducible?
☐ Are the data, results, tables, and figures clear and reliable?
☐ Are statistical analyses or models appropriate where used?
☐ Do the conclusions follow logically from the results?
☐ Are ethical approvals, consent, and relevant declarations adequate?
☐ Is the literature review current and balanced?
☐ Are there signs of plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, or image manipulation?
☐ Is the writing clear enough for publication after revision?
☐ What is the recommendation: accept, minor revision, major revision, reject?
